Clemson Look for Rare Win in Chapel Hill

Clemson was having an amazing season until they suddenly hit a four-game losing streak in mid-February. Thankfully, they ended that skid with a win against Louisville, putting them at 21–8 overall and 11–5 in the ACC. They should have what it takes to try and ruin their rival’s Senior Night and perfect home record this season.

When stacked against the Tar Heels, Clemson has a better points-against average and more steals, but they’re on the road, where history hasn’t been kind to the Tigers. They are currently shooting 46% from the field, so they’ll need RJ Godfrey and Carter Welling to step it up.

Tar Heels Aim for Perfect Home Record

The Tar Heels would love to finish the year perfect at home, especially on Senior Night, which is a chance to celebrate some of their players’ last home game. They’ve had a great season with a 23–6 overall record and 11–5 in the ACC. They’ll be looking to close out the season 18–0 at the Dean E. Smith Center.

The team’s strength comes mostly from their high-scoring offense and their ability to dominate the glass on both ends. Caleb Wilson is out with a broken wrist, but they still have Henri Veesaar, Seth Trimble, and Kyan Evans to carry the load for the team moving forward.

Clemson versus #17 North Carolina NCAAB Pick

The game is set to be a close matchup with North Carolina -3.5 on the spread. The over/under is 141.5, and the moneyline is -180 for North Carolina and +150 for Clemson. A win for either team will greatly increase their March Madness odds for the upcoming tourney.

The Tar Heels should be extra motivated to end the season with a perfect home record and give a proper goodbye to their seniors. Our pick for this game is North Carolina -3.5 on the spread.
