Alabama Seeks Major Upset
Alabama fully dominated a banged-up Texas Tech team in the second round, winning by 25 points. Their offense has never been in question, but a particularly strong defensive result is something the Crimson Tide can utilize to make a deep run if they can repeat it. They'll face a much tougher task in the Sweet 16 against 1-seed Michigan. Against one of the nation's top defenses, even Alabama's offense could struggle to get going.

Michigan Continues to Surge
Michigan had no trouble dispatching a St. Louis team that held one of the first round's most impressive wins. The Wolverines were unfaced by the Billikens relentless attacks in the paint, overwhelming them with size and physicality. Their Sweet 16 opponent fields a much different type of offense, focused more on speed and high-octane shots. Michigan will need to be at its best on both offense and defense to avoid disappointment.
#4 Alabama vs #1 Michigan NCAAB Pick
Despite, Michigan's sheer dominance, it's a bit surprising to see them favored by double digits. Alabama's offense is no joke, and it seems far more likely that the Wolverines pull away late after firing back and forth than winning in a blowout. The Crimson Tide can't be counted out from pulling off the upset, though I do think the Wolverines will do enough on defense to stop them. Alabama should keep it close enough to cover.
