Florida is 28-7 overall and the 1st seed in the South Region. They are the defending national champions, SEC regular season champions, and 18-2 in their last 20 games entering Tampa.

Florida is a really deep team with all starters scoring in double figures. They are also one of the most physically imposing teams in the nation. The combination of Haugh Condon and Chinyelu is a nightmare for any frontcourt to match up with. Will Iowa have an answer?
Iowa is 22-12 overall and the 9th seed in the South Region. They are making their first NCAA Tournament appearance under first-year head coach Ben McCollum
Bennett Stirtz is the guy, but he struggled in the first round. Stirtz went 4-of-17 against Clemson, and Iowa still won. He is dealing with an injury he sustained in the Big Ten tournament. He can still be lingering from it. However, he is an AP Honorable Mention All-American, but will need a big game to make it to the Sweet Sixteen. As a team, Iowa plays at one of the slowest paces in the country, but is extremely efficient.
Florida is the better team. They are deeper, more experienced, and playing 90 minutes from Gainesville. We think their size and versatility will overwhelm Iowa, especially if Stirtz is not at 100%. Our pick is Florida -550.
