Iowa and UCLA clash this week in a key Big-10 bout. Both teams rank near the top of the conference standings and in the top-10 of the AP Rankings. The Hawkeyes face an uphill battle against UCLA.

Iowa was rolling in the Big-10 prior to a surprise loss against USC. The Hawkeyes saw their 9-0 conference record tainted by the team ranking 13th in the Big-10 standings. They'll look to get back on track on Sunday, but face a extremely challenging next test. Perhaps thinking ahead to this game against UCLA affected Iowa on Thursday, but they'll need to be at their absolute best to have any shot of toppling the Bruins on the road.
UCLA has now won 14 games in a row, climbing to the top of the Big-10 with a 10-0 conference record and 20-1 overall mark. The Bruins have one of the most talented and experienced starting-5s in the nation, with all five currently projected to be 1st-round selections in the 2026 WNBA Draft. They can't let their guard down against Iowa in this one, facing a team that currently sits just one game behind in the conference standings.
Yet another top-10 clash takes place this Sunday, this one between Big-10 rivals Iowa and UCLA. This was shaping up to a battle of the conference's top two teams before the Hawkeyes lost to USC, but it still holds up as a key matchup for the conference. The Bruins have looked fairly unbeatable since the start of Big-10 play and also get the benefit of playing on their own home court in this game. Take UCLA to win this one at home.
