After a four-point loss to the Blazers, Minnesota has responded with two straight wins, including a 110-108 victory against the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night.

This Western Conference tilt proved to be a game of runs. Minnesota led by 11 points with 3:30 left in regulation before the Rockets rallied to send the game into overtime.
Then, Houston scored the first 13 points in the extra frame, but Minnesota answered with a 15-0 burst to escape with a two-point win.
Jaden McDaniels led five double-digit scorers with 25 points on 10-for-17 shooting from the floor. Julius Randle contributed 24 points, six rebounds, and six assists.
On the other side, the Pistons bounced back from an overtime loss against Atlanta by posting a 129-108 victory against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Detroit led by as many as 15 points before the Pelicans trimmed the deficit to four points early in the fourth quarter. But a key 15-2 surge enabled the Pistons to pull away for good, as they outscored New Orleans 37-22 in the final frame.
All five starters reached double figures for Detroit. Jalen Duren had a solid performance, finishing with 30 points, 10 rebounds, and seven assists. Kevin Huerter added 22 points and knocked down four of his seven attempts from downtown.
