The defending champs enter this matchup riding a seven-game win streak. The team's recent outing was a 104-102 victory against the Boston Celtics.

This one went down to the wire as the teams were tied at 102 in the waning moments. Chet Holmgren's two free throws gave OKC a two-point advantage with 0.9 seconds left. Payton Pritchard's 3-point attempt was off the mark at the buzzer, securing a hard-fought win for the home team.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander guided the offense with 35 points, nine assists, and six rebounds. Ajay Mitchell added 15 points, six assists, and four rebounds.
On the other side, the Timberwolves ended a three-game losing streak with a 127-117 victory against the Golden State Warriors on Friday night.
Minnesota was up by 12 in the fourth quarter before the Warriors pulled within seven on a 3-pointer by Gui Santos and a dunk from Malevy Leons. After Golden State missed nine of its next 10 shots, Anthony Edwards created the necessary separation with a pair of three-point baskets to help the Timberwolves pull away down the stretch.
Edwards was one of seven players in double figures. He finished with 42 points on 13-of-22 shooting from the field. He also tallied eight rebounds and five assists. Rudy Gobert contributed 18 points and nine rebounds.

OKC is undefeated in its last six home games and 5-1 in its last six home outings against the Timberwolves. Although it will not be easy by any means, look for the Thunder to come out on top in a close one.
