The Thunder look to strengthen their hold on the top spot out West
After dropping a 119-109 decision to the Celtics — a loss that ended its 11-game win streak — Oklahoma City responded with a 131-113 victory against the Chicago Bulls.

Surprisingly, the Thunder trailed by five points at intermission. But after the break, Oklahoma City outscored Chicago 69-46 in the second half en route to its 58th victory of the season.
Although he had an off shooting night (8-for-24 overall and 0-for-10 from beyond the arc), Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led five double-digit scorers with 25 points and five assists. Cason Wallace scored 21 points and collected five rebounds.
New York will try to regroup following a double-digit loss to the Hornets
On the other side, the Knicks' seven-game win streak ended with a 114-103 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday night.
New York trailed by 10 points at the break, and the Hornets increased their advantage to 18 points entering the fourth quarter. The Knicks held a 27-20 scoring edge in the final frame, but it wasn't enough to prevent Charlotte from coming away with the win.
All five starters were in double figures for New York. Jalen Brunson scored a team-high 26 points and handed out 13 assists. OG Anunoby added 17 points, knocking down five of his nine attempts from 3-point range.
