The Spurs trailed by as many as 13 points before trimming the deficit to four at the break. After closing the third quarter with a 24-8 burst to tie the game at 94, San Antonio outscored its opponent by a 32-19 margin in the fourth to come away with a double-digit win
De'Aaron Fox scored a team-high 27 points and dished out eight assists. Victor Wembanyama contributed 26 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.
Phoenix hopes to avoid its fourth loss in five games
On the other side, the Suns have dropped three of their last four games, including a blowout 136-109 loss to the OKC Thunder.
Phoenix fell behind early and never recovered, as a 12-point first-quarter deficit reached 33 points in the third quarter. As a result, the defending champs had little trouble cruising to a dominant win.
Dillon Brooks led the home team with 23 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Royce O'Neale and Jordan Goodwin scored 12 points each.
