San Antonio had won 11 straight going into the weekend. But that streak ended with a 136-134 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Spurs were up 107-96 with 9:08 left to play in regulation. However, Denver outscored San Antonio 40-27 over the remaining 14 minutes (including overtime) while holding the Spurs to 33 percent shooting.
Victor Wembanyama was one of six players in double figures for San Antonio. His final stat line included an impressive 34 points, 18 rebounds, seven assists, and five blocks. Stephon Castle contributed 20 points, nine assists, and five rebounds.
The Sixers saw their win streak end with a 116-93 loss to the Detroit Pistons on Saturday night.
Philadelphia overcame a double-digit deficit to tie the game in the second quarter. But a 15-4 surge helped the Pistons take an 11-point lead into the break before extending their advantage to 26 points in the second half.
Tyrese Maxey was one of four players in double figures. He scored a team-high 23 points on 8-for-17 shooting from the field. Paul George added 20 points, five rebounds, and four assists.
