Following back-to-back losses to the Bulls and Timberwolves, Houston enters this matchup riding a seven-game winning streak. The team's recent outing was a 119-105 victory against the Phoenix Suns.

The Rockets trailed by as many as 21 points in the first half before rallying to get within three at the break. After pulling ahead by three entering the fourth quarter, a 38-21 scoring edge allowed Houston to come away with the win.
Kevin Durant paced the offense with 24 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Amen Thompson registered 22 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists.
On the other side, the Sixers have dropped their last two games. This includes a 115-102 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night.
Philadelphia was down by seven points through three quarters. And unfortunately, a pedestrian 17-point effort in the fourth allowed the Spurs to notch their 60th win of the season.
Joel Embiid posted a double-double that consisted of 34 points and 12 rebounds. He shot 16 of 19 from the charity stripe. Paul George chipped in with 16 points, four rebounds, and four assists for a Sixers squad that shot just 38 percent overall and 31 percent from beyond the arc.
