The Rockets look to shake off the blowout loss to Denver
Houston enters this conference tilt having dropped two of its last three games. The team's latest setback was a 129-93 loss to the Denver Nuggets.

The Rockets trailed by six points at the break. Unfortunately, Denver pulled away in the second half, outscoring the road team 76-46, including a 40-22 edge in the third quarter.
Amen Thompson led five double-digit scorers with 16 points, five rebounds, and four assists. Kevin Durant and Jabari Smith Jr. added 11 points each.
New Orleans is seeking its second straight win
Following back-to-back losses to both LA teams, the Pelicans have won three of their last four games, including a 122-111 victory against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday night.
New Orleans led by as many as 18 points before the Raptors trimmed the deficit to two early in the fourth quarter. But an 8-0 burst created enough separation for the Pelicans to pull away down the stretch.
Trey Murphy III paced the offense with 28 points and seven rebounds on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range. Dejounte Murray scored 27 points, handed out six assists, and snagged five rebounds.
