Houston was unable to shake the pesky Mavericks until the latter moments of this one. With the game tied at 107, Alperen Sengun's layup and a dunk by Tori Eason enabled the Rockets to escape with a narrow win.
All five starters reached double figures for Houston. Amen Thompson paced the offense with 21 points, nine assists, and eight rebounds. Jabari Smith Jr. scored 19 points and snagged eight rebounds.

- Indiana is 6-1 ATS in its previous seven home outings.
- The Rockets are 4-1 in their last five contests.
- Houston is 4-12 ATS in its previous 16 matchups.
