The Nuggets trailed by seven points through three quarters. But a 37-24 burst allowed them to avoid what would have been a disappointing loss against one of the worst teams in the association.
Nikola Jokic posted a triple-double, which consisted of 33 points, 15 rebounds, and 12 assists. Jamal Murray also had a solid performance, finishing with 31 points, 14 assists, and six rebounds.
After dropping three straight games, the Warriors enter this tilt riding the wave of a three-game win streak. This includes a 131-126 victory against the Washington Wizards on Friday night.
Golden State led by 13 points after the first quarter before the Wizards pulled ahead by 5 in the fourth (111-106). But a 25-15 burst enabled the Warriors to prevail in this one.
Kristaps Porzingis paced the offense with 28 points and eight rebounds on 5-for-11 shooting from downtown. Gui Santos added 27 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
