The Nuggets led by two in the final moments of regulation. However, Austin Reaves hit a floater (after intentionally missing a free throw) with 1.9 seconds left, sending the game into overtime.
And with the game tied at 125 in the extra frame, Luka Doncic knocked down the game-winning basket with 0.5 seconds remaining, and blocked Tim Hardaway's desperate heave at the buzzer.
Aaron Gordon scored a team-high 27 points, connecting on five of his 10 attempts from distance. Nikola Jokic contributed 24 points, 16 rebounds, and 14 assists.
Philadelphia looks to extend its win streak to three games
On the other side, the Sixers bounced back from a 22-point loss to Detroit by winning their last two games. This includes a 109-103 victory against the Portland Trail Blazers.
Philadelphia watched a 14-point fourth-quarter advantage shrink to four with 1:53 left in regulation. But a jumper from VJ Edgecombe, followed by a slam dunk from Justin Edwards, helped the host team secure the win.
Quentin Grimes led a balanced scoring attack with 31 points on 11-for-22 shooting from the field. Edwards added 21 points, along with two rebounds and two assists.
