The Nuggets held a slim one-point lead through three quarters. However, the Hawks took control in the final frame, outscoring their opponent 36-12.
Peyton Watson put up a team-high 25 points, collected 11 rebounds, and handed out four assists. Aaron Gordon led the second unit with 14 points, nine boards, and five dimes.
The injury-ravaged Nuggets were without Nikola Jokic (left knee), Jonas Valanciunas (calf), Jamal Murray (ankle), and Spencer Jones (ankle).
Milwaukee Seeking Its Fourth Win In Five Tries
Following a 114-113 setback against Washington, the Bucks have produced three wins in their last four outings. This includes a 105-101 victory against the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night.
Milwaukee led by nine points at intermission, but Los Angeles rallied to tie the game with two minutes left in regulation. Fortunately for the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo made a couple of defensive plays to lift the road team to victory.
He blocked LeBron James' layup attempt with 39 seconds left, which resulted in a pair of free throws from Kevin Porter. Then, Antetokounmpo knocked the ball away from James, and Kevin Porter iced the game with two more free throws.
Porter finished with 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds. Antetokounmpo added 21 points, six rebounds, and five assists on 9-for-11 from the field.
