Following a three-game win streak, Los Angeles enters this matchup on a two-game losing streak. The team's latest setback was a 136-108 loss to the San Antonio Spurs.

The short-handed Lakers, who were missing five players — including LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves — trailed 84-55 at the break and never made a serious run in the second half.
Luke Kennard scored a team-high 14 points and handed out five assists. Jaxson Hayes added 13 points, going 6-for-7 from the field.
On the other side, Dallas has dropped its last eight games. This includes a 120-111 defeat at the hands of the Phoenix Suns.
Dallas trailed by 21 points through three quarters. And while the Mavericks produced a 36-24 scoring edge in the final frame, it wasn't enough to prevent Phoenix from coasting to a nine-point win.
Naji Marshall led the team with 31 points, connecting on 12 of his 17 shot attempts. Cooper Flagg finished with 27 points and five rebounds.
