The Knicks were up by 14 points in the fourth before Brooklyn cut the deficit to one point. With a chance to put New York up by three, Karl-Anthony Towns missed two free throws. Fortunately, Ben Saraf's desperate 45-footer was off the mark as time expired.

Washington hopes to snap its 15-game skid
The Wizards have dropped each of their last 15 games. Their latest setback includes a 132-111 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday.
