Detroit dominated the first half and led by a 63-42 margin at halftime. And after the break, the Pistons outscored their opponent by a 55-38 margin en route to a 38-point win.
Daniss Jenkins scored a team-high 18 points, along with four rebounds and three assists. Tobias Harris and Isaiah Stewart both added 15 points apiece.
Detroit's defense limited the Knicks to 35 percent shooting overall and 24 percent from beyond the arc.
