The Hornets took control of the game early, leading by a whopping 60-34 at the break. And although Denver's second-half effort was noticeably better, it was not enough to prevent Charlotte from cruising to a 23-point win.
Brandon Miller led the starters with 23 points on 8-for-15 shooting from the floor. Ryan Kalkbrenner added 17 points and six rebounds off the bench.
Cleveland Aims To Bounce Back From Blowout Loss To The Thunder

The Cavaliers were within 50-45, but a 16-6 surge by OKC extended the lead to 66-51 at halftime. And thanks to the road team putting up 70 points in the second half, including a 23-5 advantage over the final 3:33 of the game, Cleveland suffered its worst loss in nearly two years.
Donovan Mitchell was one of five players in double figures for the home team. He scored 19 points, but shot 5-for-18 overall and 1-for-9 from 3-point range. Both Evan Mobley and De'Andre Hunter contributed 16 points and nine rebounds each.
