One of the games on Thursday's NBA slate features the Atlanta Hawks hosting the Brooklyn Nets. Who has the edge in our Hawks vs Nets pick?
After suffering a 31-point loss to the Heat on Feb. 20, Atlanta has bounced back, winning its last seven games. The team's most recent triumph was a 124-112 victory against the Dallas Mavericks.

The Hawks led by 14 points after the first quarter, before Dallas rallied to tie the game at 97 in the final frame. However, the home team closed the evening on a 27-15 surge, handing the Mavericks their eighth straight loss.
Atlanta's scoring attack included five players who reached double figures. Nickeil Alexander-Walker guided the offense with 29 points on 5-of-8 shooting from beyond the arc. Jalen Johnson scored 27 points, handed out eight assists, and snagged seven rebounds.
The Nets had won two straight following a 10-game losing streak. Unfortunately, that stretch ended with an embarrassing 138-100 loss to the Detroit Pistons.
Brooklyn trailed by 33 points (73-40) at intermission. While their offense improved in the second half, scoring 60 points, it wasn't nearly enough to prevent the top team in the East from coasting to an easy win.
Michael Porter Jr. was one of five players in double figures for the Nets. He finished with 19 points and two rebounds. Jalen Wilson led the bench unit with 14 points and three rebounds.

The Hawks have taken four of the previous five meetings in this series, and Brooklyn is 2-17 in its last 19 road games. With that in mind, Atlanta emerges victorious in this one.
