Seven players reached double figures for the Hawks. CJ McCollum paced the offense with 25 points and seven assists. Nickeil Alexander-Walker added 21 points, four rebounds, and three assists. Atlanta shot 57 percent overall and 51 percent from 3-point range.
New York looked sharp in its recent win against the woeful Bulls
Following three consecutive losses, the Knicks have responded with two straight wins. This includes a 136-96 victory against the Chicago Bulls.
New York jumped on its opponent from the start. The home team raced out to a 22-point lead after the first quarter and extended its advantage to 78-41 at the break. While Chicago did play better in the second half, scoring 55 points, the effort was not nearly enough to keep the Knicks from prevailing in convincing fashion.
Four starters reached double figures for New York. OG Anunoby was the standout performer with 31 points on 7-for-10 shooting from long range. Mitchell Robinson and Jalen Brunson scored 17 points each.
