Memphis had dropped eight straight games, but ended that streak with a 125-118 victory against the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday night.

The teams were tied at 60 through the first 24 minutes of action. However, Memphis pulled away for good in the third quarter, courtesy of a 39-31 edge.
Olivier-Maxence Prosper was one of six players in double figures for the Grizzlies. He scored a team-high 19 points on 6-for-9 shooting from the field. GG Jackson added 16 points and six rebounds.
Following a two-game skid, the Celtics have won three straight, including a 120-99 victory against the Golden State Warriors.
The Celtics led by as many as 21 points before Golden State rallied to trim the deficit to 11 early in the fourth. Boston responded with a 17-6 run, pushing the advantage back to 22 points with five minutes left in regulation.
Jaylen Brown spearheaded the offense with 32 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Jayson Tatum posted a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds.
