Clippers Look To Regroup Following Poor Effort Against Boston

LA was enjoying its best stretch of the season, thanks to a season-high six-game win streak. Unfortunately, the team's good fortune came to an end with a 146-115 setback against the Boston Celtics.

The Clippers trailed by 14 points after the first quarter and 119-107 in the fourth quarter. Any hopes of a comeback were dashed, thanks to Jaylen Brown scoring nine straight points to extend the lead to 21 points.

Boston outscored LA 33-16 in the final frame on its way to an easy 31-point victory. Kawhi Leonard and John Collins scored 22 points each.

James Harden added 18 points and 12 assists, while Derrick Jones Jr. contributed 19 points and four rebounds off the bench.

Golden State Seeks Its Fourth Win In Five Games

The Warriors have won three of their last four games. Their latest triumph includes a 123-114 victory against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.

Golden State trailed by seven points at the break (65-58). However, the home team outscored its opponent 65-49 in the second half, including a 42-31 advantage in the game-changing third quarter.

Stephen Curry, who returned from a one-game absence due to an ankle sprain, scored a team-high 31 points and handed out five assists. Jimmy Butler III and Quinten Post added 15 points each.

The Warriors shot 49 percent overall and 42 percent from beyond the arc.
