The Bulls dug themselves an early hole, trailing by 22 points after one and 78-41 at the break. New York led by as many as 47 points on its way to a 40-point victory.
Four players reached double figures for Chicago, with two reserve players leading the charge. Collin Sexton scored 19 points on 5-for-7 shooting from beyond the arc. Leonard Miller added 14 points and six rebounds.
After back-to-back wins against Utah and Memphis, the Suns have dropped their last two games. Their latest setback was a 127-107 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Thursday night.
Phoenix started the game on a positive note, outscoring the Hornets 41-33 in the opening frame. However, Charlotte pulled ahead for good over the next two quarters, courtesy of a 69-46 scoring advantage.
Jalen Green guided the offense with 25 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Devin Booker registered 22 points, six assists, and five rebounds.
