Minnesota comes into matchup having won seven of its previous eight games, including a 117-103 victory against the Sacramento Kings.

The Timberwolves trailed 52-51 at the break. But thanks to a 15-0 surge in the third quarter and a 29-19 scoring edge in the final frame, the host team cruised to a 14-point win.
Julius Randle was one of five players who reached double figures. He scored a team-high 24 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Jaden McDaniels finished with 21 points and four rebounds.
Minnesota improved to 14-1 against opponents with losing records.
Following a 126-119 setback against San Antonio, the Grizzlies have won three of their previous four contests, including a 121-103 victory against the LA Clippers.
Los Angeles held a 64-63 lead at the midway point of the third quarter. However, the Timberwolves responded with a 26-13 burst, which resulted in a 90-76 advantage heading into the fourth quarter.
Jaren Jackson Jr. paced the offense with 31 points, four rebounds, and four assists on 13-for-18 shooting from the field. Jaylen Wells contributed 16 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Memphis shot 52 percent overall and 41 percent from 3-point range.
