Thunder Shooting For Their Seventh Straight Victory

After suffering a two-point loss to the Portland Trail Blazers, OKC has responded with victories in each of its last six outings, including a 126-109 win against the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Thunder raced out to an early 49-24 lead after the opening quarter. And although New Orleans outscored the defending champs by a combined 61-41 in the second and fourth quarters, the outcome was never in doubt.

OKC produced a balanced attack in which six players reached double figures, including four starters. Chet Holmgren scored a team-high 26 points and collected nine rebounds. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander added 23 points, eight assists, and three steals while attempting just nine shots.

Sacramento Hopes To End Six-Game Skid

After defeating the Golden State Warriors earlier this month, the Kings enter this Western Conference tilt amid a six-game losing streak. Their latest setback was a 123-110 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Sunday night.

Sacramento fell behind by 12 points after the first quarter, and failed to make a significant dent in the lead the rest of the way despite Victory Wembanyama sitting this one out with a calf injury.

DeMar DeRozan paced the offense with 27 points and four assists on an efficient 12-for-15 effort from the field. Dennis Schroder contributed 22 points, six rebounds, and five assists off the bench.
