Following a 116-95 setback against Cleveland, the Pistons have responded with five straight victories, including a 125-107 win against the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night.
Detroit fell behind by 10 points early before rallying to take a 60-55 lead into the break. The Pistons' surge continued in the second half, as they outscored Brooklyn 65-52, which included a crucial 34-19 edge in the third quarter.
Cade Cunningham was the team's top performer. He scored a game-high 34 points and handed out 10 assists on an efficient 13-for-18 effort from the floor. Jalen Duren produced an impressive stat line that included 30 points, 11 rebounds, and three steals.
