After splitting their first four games, Detroit has reeled off nine straight wins, including a 114-105 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday night.
The Pistons led by nine points at the break, but Philly fought back to take a two-point advantage into the fourth quarter. In the game's final 12 minutes, Detroit responded with a 26-15 scoring edge en route to its ninth consecutive win.
Javonte Green scored a team-high 21 points, along with nine rebounds and three assists. Daniss Jenkins added 19 points and eight assists on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range.
Injury-Riddled Indiana Looks To Snap Seven-Game Skid
After notching their first win of the season against the Golden State Warriors, the Pacers have dropped their last seven games. This includes a 129-111 loss to the Toronto Raptors.
With several key players nursing injuries, Indiana was within striking distance early, trailing by nine points at the break. However, Toronto increased its advantage to 26 points before settling for an 18-point victory.
Pascal Siakam led the way with 30 points, four rebounds, three assists, and two steals. He also converted five of his 10 attempts from beyond the arc. Andrew Nembhard registered 22 points, five assists, and four rebounds.
