Detroit saw its two-game win streak end with a 116-95 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.
The Pistons trailed 63-41 going into the break. And it didn't get any better after that, as the Cavaliers extended their advantage to 35 points (108-73) in the final frame on their way to an easy 21-point victory.
Cade Cunningham led the way with 12 ponts, five rebounds, and four assists. But he shot just 3-for-14 from the field and 1-for-7 from deep. Tobias Harris added 10 points and three rebounds for a Detroit squad that shot 37.9 percent overall and 32.4 percent from 3-pont range.
After defeating Miami on opening night, the Magic have dropped their last three games, including a 136-124 loss to the Philadelphia 76ers.
Orlando trailed by a dozen at the break before closing the gap to seven points late in the fourth quarter. But thanks to a crucial 3-pointer and layup from Tyrese Maxey, Philadephia pulled away down the stretch.
All five starters reached double figures for the Magic. Desmond Bane paced the offense with 24 points and three rebounds on 10-for-17 shooting from the field. Franz Wagner added 22 points, four rebounds, and four assists.
