Short-Handed Pacers Off To Rough Start
After defeating the Golden State Warriors 114-109 on Nov. 1, Indiana has dropped each of its last six games. This includes a 133-98 shellacking at the hands of the Phoenix Suns.
The injury-ravaged Pacers trailed by 20 points, but battled back to cut the deficit to six points in the third quarter. Unfortunately, Phoenix responded with a back-breaking 16-0 run to take a 106-84 lead into the final frame.
Andrew Nembhard scored a team-high 21 points and handed out eight assists. Pascal Siakam contributed 19 points, five rebounds, and two assists.
Toronto Aiming for Third Consecutive Victory
Following a 130-120 setback against the 76ers, the Raptors come into this matchup on a two-game win streak, including a 126-113 victory against the Cavaliers.
The Raptors held a 67-54 advantage at halftime before Cleveland trimmed the deficit to five points in the fourth quarter. But thanks to a pair of timely 3-pointers from Immanuel Quickley and a basket from RJ Barrett, Toronto held on for a 13-point victory.
Scottie Barnes was a force at both ends of the floor. His final stat line included 28 points, 10 rebounds, eight assists, and five blocked shots. Quickley contributed 25 points and six assists on 7-for-10 shooting overall and 5-for-7 from 3-point range.
