Pacers Aiming For Second Win In Three Games
Indiana snapped a five-game losing streak by posting a five-point win against Golden State. But they followed that up with a 117-115 setback against the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday.
The Pacers trailed by nine after the first quarter. However, the game was tied at 115 in the waning moments after a layup from Aaron Nesmith. Unfortunately, Giannis Antetokounmpo hit the game-winning basket as time expired.
Pascal Siakam put up 32 points, along with eight rebounds, and three assists. Isaiah Jackson, who missed most of last season with an Achilles injury, added 21 points and 10 rebounds.
Brooklyn Hopes To Snap Seven-Game Skid
The Nets are off to a rough start, having dropped each of their first seven games. This includes a 125-109 setback against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Despite a winless record, Brooklyn trailed by only three points (91-88) heading into the fourth quarter. However, the Nets were outscored 34-21, as Minnesota cruised to a 16-point victory.
Cam Thomas was one of four starters who reached double figures. He finished with 25 points, three assists, and two steals on 10-for-24 shooting from the field. Nic Claxton contributed 19 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists.
