Nuggets Look To Bounce Back From Loss To Golden State
This was a classic contest between two Western Conference rivals. Fast forward to the fourth quarter, Aaron Gordon's 3-pointer gave Denver a three-point lead with 25.7 seconds to play. Unfortunately, Stephen Curry knocked down a triple of his own, sending the game into overtime.
Golden State opened the extra period with a 12-2 run, and Jimmy Butler knocked down a crucial basket, giving the Warriors a six-point advantage they would not relinquish.
Gordon torched the Warriors' defense for 50 points on an efficient 17-for-21 from the floor. He also shot a ridiculous 10-for-11 from beyond the arc.
Jamal Murray added 25 points and 10 assists, while Nikola Jokic posted a triple-double that included 21 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists.
Phoenix Looks To Bounce Back From Dismal Showing Against The Clippers
The game was close early, with the Suns trailing by a point after the first quarter. But thanks to a 38-23 burst in the second quarter and a 14-2 spurt to start the third, the Clippers cruised to an easy 27-point victory.
Dillon Brooks led the way with 21 points, three rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Devin Booker registered 18 points, seven assists, and three rebounds on 5-for-10 shooting from the field.
Phoenix shot 41.1 percent from the field. The team was outrebounded 43-37 and outscored 52-34 in the paint.
