Bucks Look To Bounce Back From Loss Against Rockets

The Bucks’ recent four-game win streak ended on Tuesday night when they were defeated 100-97 by the Houston Rockets.

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored a team-high 27 points, grabbed 10 boards, and handed out six assists on 9-for-17 shooting from the field.

Damian Lillard chimed in with 22 points and three assists, while Brook Lopez chipped in with 12 points and eight rebounds for a Bucks team that shot 40 percent from the field.

With the game tied at 95, Houston’s Alperen Sengun made 3 of 4 free throws to give the Rockets a three-point advantage with 30 seconds left to play.

Following Antetokounmpo’s dunk, Jeff Green added a pair of free throws, giving Houston a 100-97 lead. On the game’s final possession, Lillard missed a 3-pointer, sealing the win for the Rockets.

Nuggets Shooting For Another Win Against Eastern Conference Opponent

After seeing their nine-game win streak end with a blowout loss against the Los Angeles Lakers, the Nuggets responded with a 125-116 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Monday night.

Aaron Gordon was the main cog in a scoring attack in which all five starters reached double figures. He finished with 25 points and five rebounds, connecting on 11 of his 17 shot attempts.

Michael Porter Jr. added 19 points and 11 rebounds. Nikola Jokic also had a double-double that included 18 points and 19 assists. He also collected nine rebounds.

Denver led by 17 points heading into the final frame, but Indiana trimmed the deficit to 115-108. The road team responded with consecutive buckets from Gordon and Christian Braun en route to a nine-point victory.

Bucks vs Nuggets Pick: Denver Extends Win Streak To Two Games

The Bucks have won four of their last five games. Milwaukee is ranked 10th in defensive rating and 13th in offensive efficiency.

On the other hand, the Nuggets are also 4-1 in their previous five contests, and they have won nine of 10 overall. While Denver is not a great defensive squad, it does have the third-highest scoring average (121.3 PPG) and the second-highest offensive rating in the association (120.3 Points Per 100 Possessions).

Indiana will keep the game close, but Denver will emerge victorious when it’s all said and done.
