The Magic Remain Undefeated In Preseason Competition
Although the Sixers had dropped their first two preseason games, they kept the game close for most of the evening, trailing by just four points entering the final frame.
But over the game's final 12 minutes, the Magic outscored Philly by a 34-8 margin on its way to a decisive 128-98 victory.
Wendell Carter Jr. was one of five players to tally double-digit scoring totals for the road team. He led the way with 20 points, 13 rebounds, and three assists. Paolo Banchero added 13 points, four rebounds, and two assists.
Miami Looks To Bounce Back From Loss To The Spurs
The Heat overcame a six-point deficit after three quarters to take a 107-103 lead late in this contest. It appeared they were on their way to victory as the Spurs fielded a squad that won't see a ton of action in the upcoming season.
However, San Antonio scored the last nine points of the game, handing Miami its third straight loss in preseason play.
Kel’El Ware had a monster game for the Heat. He finished with 29 points and 12 rebounds on 12-for-19 shooting from the field. Jaime Jaquez Jr. contributed 18 points, connecting on six of his eight shot attempts.
