After a 121-92 shellacking at the hands of the Thunder, Los Angeles has responded with wins in its last two contests. This includes a 119-95 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Lakers led by 12 points after the opening stanza, and increased its advantage to 65-34 at intermission. Milwaukee got within 12 points in the third period. However, Luka Doncic closed the quarter with eight points, giving the Lakers a 20-point lead heading into the final frame.
Doncic powered the offense with 41 points, nine rebounds, and six assists. He shot 9-for-19 from the floor and 18-for-20 from the charity stripe. Austin Reeves finished with 25 points and six rebounds on 5-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc.
The Jazz enter this Western Conference tilt with two wins in their last three games. This includes a 150-147 double overtime victory against the Chicago Bulls.
Bulls guard, Coby White, hit a pair of free throws, tying the game at 147 in the second overtime frame. Keyonte George answered with a huge 3-point shot with two seconds left on the ensuing possession.
Chicago had one last chance to tie the score, but Nikola Vucevic's three-point attempt was off the mark, securing a come-from-behind victory for the home team.
Lauri Markkanen scored a team-high 47 points and collected seven rebounds. George contributed 33 points, six assists, and four steals.
