After beating the Bulls in double overtime, Utah has dropped its last two contests. Their latest setback was a 144-112 shellacking at the hands of the OKC Thunder.

The Jazz raced out to a 44-30 lead after the first quarter, and held an 84-77 advantage in the third. However, the defending champs finished the quarter with a 33-4 burst, flipping a double-digit deficit into a 22-point lead.
And OKC outscored Utah by a 34-24 margin in the final frame en route to a 32-point victory. The Thunder shot 61 percent overall and 62 percent from 3-point range. They also converted 28 Jazz turnovers into 44 points.
Following a 32-point loss to OKC, the Lakers have responded with three straight wins, including a 140-126 victory against the Jazz.
Despite scoring 71 points in the first half, Utah led by just four points at intermission. And in the second half, Los Angeles outscored the Jazz by a 73-55 margin, including a 37-22 edge in the third quarter.
Luka Doncic powered the offense with 37 points, 10 assists, five rebounds, and four steals. Austin Reeves added 26 points and five rebounds on 7-for-11 shooting from the field.

Utah has dropped eight of the last 10 meetings in this series. Additionally, the Jazz are winless in their previous six outings against Western Conference opponents. Given the trends, look for Los Angeles to win this one convincingly.
