The Heat trailed 120-113 late in the fourth quarter before a 3-pointer from Kelโ€™el Ware and two free throws from Jaime Jaquez Jr. trimmed the deficit to two points (120-118) with 3:12 left in regulation. However, New York's 8-0 burst put the game away for good and handed Miami its seventh loss in eight games.

Ware scored a team-high 28 points, grabbed 19 rebounds, and shot 5-for-7 from 3-point range. Jaquez added 23 points and five assists.

Toronto Aims To Avoid Its Third Straight Loss

The Raptors enter this conference tilt amid a two-game losing skid. Their latest setback includes a 96-81 loss to the Brooklyn Nets.

Toronto trailed by 10 points at the break but trimmed the deficit to two points entering the final frame. Unfortunately, the Nets responded with a 29-16 burst in the quarter en route to securing their eighth win of the season.

Brandon Ingram was one of just two players who reached double figures for the Raptors. His final stat line included 19 points, five rebounds, and three assists. Immanuel Quickley registered 17 points, 10 assists, and five rebounds.
