Celtics Look To Snap Two-Game Skid
Following a three-game win streak, Boston has dropped its last two games, including a 105-103 loss to the Utah Jazz on Monday.
The Celtics led by a comfortable 10-point margin at the break. But the Jazz rallied and the game was tied at 103 in the final moments. Utah's Jusuf Nurkic had a putback with 0.6 seconds left in regulation to give the team a two-point lead.
Boston had an opportunity to tie the game, but Jaylen Brown was whistled for a foul on the inbounds play, enabling the Jazz to hold on for a two-point victory. Brown scored a game-high 36 points, along with four assists, and two steals. Payton Pritchard added 18 points, five rebounds, and three assists.
Washington Hopes To End Five-Game Losing Streak
After a 117-107 win against the Dallas Mavericks back on Oct. 24, the Wizards enter this matchup amid a five-game skid. This includes a 119-102 loss to the New York Knicks on Monday night.
Washington trailed 57-54 at the break. However, New York pulled away in the third quarter, outscoring the road team by a 41-24 margin to take a 20-point lead it would not relinquish.
Alex Sarr had a solid outing, finishing with 19 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and two blocks. Kyshawn George and Bilal Coulibaly scored 15 points each and combined for 11 rebounds.
