After a 7-3 start, Cleveland has dropped two of its last three games. This includes a 126-113 loss to the Toronto Raptors on Thursday.
The Cavaliers trailed by 13 at the break before pulling within five points in the fourth quarter. But a pair of 3-pointers from Immanuel Quickley and a basket from RJ Barrett, pushed the lead back to 13.
Donovan Mitchell led the way with 31 points, six rebounds, and six assists on 7-for 18 shooting from the field. Nae'Qwan Tomlin led the second unit with 18 points and six boards, connecting on eight of his 10 shot attempts.
Following a 14-point win against the Dallas Mavericks, the Grizzlies enter this matchup on a three-game skid, including a 131-95 loss to the Boston Celtics.
Without Ja Morant in the lineup (ankle), the Grizzlies were no match for Boston in this one. The Celtics held an eight-point lead after the first quarter and led by as many as 38 points en route to an easy 36-point victory.
Jaren Jackson Jr. paced the offense with 18 points. Santi Aldama finished with 14 points, six rebounds, and four assists for a Memphis squad that shot 34 percent overall and just 23 percent from beyond the arc.
