Cavaliers Aim To End Two-Game Skid

Following back-to-back wins against the Pacers and Clippers, Cleveland enters this tilt amid a two-game losing streak. Their latest setback includes a 130-123 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.

Cleveland led by four points with 2:25 left in regulation, but failed to close the deal down the stretch. Atlanta's Zaccharie Riscaher hit a 3-pointer to give the home team a 126-123 lead.

And after Donovan Mitchell missed a potentially game-tying shot from distance, Nickeil Alexander-Walker knocked down a shot from deep, giving the Hawks a six-point cushion with 47.7 seconds left to play.

Mitchell guided the Cavaliers' offense with 42 points, three rebounds, and three assists, connecting on 7 of his 15 attempts from beyond the arc. Evan Mobley added 20 points, 14 rebounds, and seven assists.

Boston Seeking Its Third Win In Four Tries

The Celtics' recent two-game streak ended with a 119-115 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Saturday. Boston led 69-59 at the break before Minnesota battled back to take a two-point lead into the final frame. Leading 115-112, Anthony Edwards hit a desperation 3-point shot that enabled the Timberwolves to come away with a four-point win.

Jaylen Brown was one of four players in double figures. He scored a team-high 41 points, along with seven assists and six rebounds. Neemias Queta posted a double-double that consisted of 19 points and 18 rebounds.
