Bucks Too Much For Chicago Down The Stretch
After coming up short against the Raptors to the tune of 128-100, Milwaukee bounced back with a 126-110 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Friday.
The game was close through the first three quarters, as the Bucks led by five points. However, thanks to an 8-0 run to start the final frame, Milwaukee pulled away down the stretch en route to its sixth win of the season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo shredded the Bulls' defense, scoring 41 points, along with 15 rebounds and nine assists. He also had two blocked shots. Myles Turner added 23 points, eight rebounds, and four steals.
Houston Hopes To Start Another Win Streak
The Rockets saw their five-game win streak snapped, courtesy of a 121-110 setback against the San Antonio Spurs.
With the Rockets trailing 117-110 in the final moments, Spurs forward Harrison Barnes scored the game's final four points. He hit a pair of three throws and had a breakaway dunk with 12 seconds left in regulation.
Alperen Sengun paced the offense with 25 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists. Kevin Durant contributed 24 points on 8-for-18 shooting from the field.
This game marked the NBA Cup opener for both teams.
