Event Preview
Following a gripping edition of the Cook Out Southern 500, all eyes on the NASCAR schedule will quickly shift to the Enjoy Illinois 300 this weekend. The race on Sunday will cover a total of 300 miles, which is made up of 240 laps. The first stage will see 45 laps completed, before the remaining two stages cover 95 and 100 laps, respectively.
Chase Briscoe seized control of the Drivers’ Championship last weekend after claiming a dominant win. The American has been in excellent form throughout the second half of the season, which includes three top-two finishes in the final seven regular season races.
Denny Hamlin maintained his consistent form after finishing seventh last weekend, and he is likely to be one of the main contenders once again this weekend. However, wins have dried up for the driver after claiming just one success in the last eleven races.
It was a frustrating weekend for Kyle Larson, as the former champion dropped to third in the standings after only finishing 19th. Tyler Reddick enjoyed a productive weekend last time out after climbing up to fourth in the overall standings after taking second.

Bubba Wallace is going under the radar in NASCAR this season. His sixth-place finish last weekend means that he has now finished in the top ten in five of the last seven races. He regularly performs well at this circuit, and he could prove to be an interesting value play.
