Originally set to face Amir Albazi, Taira now gets a short-notice opponent in undefeated Korean prospect Park (10-0).

Park’s resume is shiny – nine finishes in 10 fights – but he’s never been in a five-round war. Taira, on the other hand, just went the distance with Brandon Royval in a razor-close fight that showed off his gas tank and wrestling. He landed six takedowns, his career high.

Mateusz Rebecki vs. Chris Duncan

Polish standout Mateusz Rebecki (20‑2) comes in as the clear betting favorite, and for good reason. First of all, he’s a real tough guy who can take a lot of beating.

Secondly, he’s also very dangerous, with plenty of weapons in his arsenal. His volume of 4.70 significant strikes per minute and elite submission game make him a nightmare in the Octagon.

Duncan (13‑2), on the other hand, carries power in his hands and is riding a two‑fight submission streak. The problem is that his takedown defense sits around 37%, which could be a problem against a guy like Rebecki whose TD accuracy is 75%.

We expect Rebecki to pressure early, work the clinch, and seek dominant position. If the hits the floor, we could even see the Polish fighter get a ground-and-pound win.
