Benoit Saint Denis vs. Mauricio Ruffy: BSD to Derail the Ruffy Hype Train

Mauricio Ruffy is the betting favorite, the main reason being that 11 of his 12 wins happened by KO/TKO. However, he’s only fought three times in the UFC, where his most impressive performance happened against King Green, whom he KO-ed with a spinning wheel kick.

But now, he’s fighting a much tougher opponent, a former special forces operative who was in a real war. BSD is tough as nails, but more importantly, he’s leagues above Ruffy when it comes to wrestling. That said, we think he will land an early takedown and finish his opponent on the ground.

We’re also backing Paul Craig to surprise everyone at Accor Arena. Sure, the Scottish fighter has been in bad form, and he’s fighting a knockout expert, but the thing is that he’s already defeated some real big favorites in the past – Magomed Ankalaev, Jamahal Hill, Nikita Krylov, etc.
