Event Preview
One of the most prestigious events on the DP World Tour will be staged across the coming weekend. The Open de France was first held back in 1906, and it has formed an integral stop on the Tour since the competition was introduced in 1972. The 100th edition of the event was staged back in 2022, and was won by Nicolas Colsaerts.
The field will compete across a total distance of 7,247 yards this weekend at the par 71 Le Golf National. Dan Bradbury comes into the weekend as the reigning champion after a statement win in the event last year.
Harry Hall is likely to be a leading contender this weekend after enjoying an excellent season on the tour. Last weekend, he finished well to finish 13-under and take a share of 13th at the BMW PGA Championship.
Canadian star Corey Conners will play a rare event on the DP World Tour this weekend. The 33-year-old will be aiming to respond after failing to make the cut at the BMW PGA Championship last time out.
Angel Ayora could be among the most interesting plays this weekend. The fast-improving 20-year-old would have taken huge confidence from his performance last weekend after finishing seven-under at Wentworth Club.
Open de France Picks
A chance could be taken on Ryan Fox in France this weekend. The New Zealander looked back to somewhere near his best last weekend after finishing eight-under at the BMW PGA Championship. He could be hitting top form at a good time, and he is an attractive price this weekend.
