What Races Remain in Formula 1 in 2025?

Following the end of the summer break, F1 action resumes in the Netherlands on August 31. The race is one of ten that remain in the 2025 season, and the dates for all remaining races this term can be found below.

How Things Stand in Drivers’ Championship Battle

McLaren have been the dominant team in F1 in 2025, winning eleven of the 14 races. That includes victories in each of the last four, and six of the last seven. Therefore, it is likely that the team will retain the Constructors’ Championship ahead of the regulation changes before the start of the 2026 season.

However, the race for the Drivers’ Championship is likely to go down to the wire this season, as little has separated Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri on track. Despite a friendly rivalry between the stars, they have already collided this season. Norris ran into the back of Piastri at the Canadian Grand Prix, but that has been the only flash point in their title battle.

Piastri holds the narrow advantage at this point of the season, winning six times compared to the five victories registered by Norris. However, the British driver has won three of the last four races to cut his teammate’s advantage to just nine points.

McLaren boss Zak Brown still believes the battle is a three-way fight, but Max Verstappen sits 97 points behind Piastri, and that looks challenging to overhaul at this stage of the campaign.

McLaren look set to make a successful defense of the Constructors’ title, as they sit nearly 300 points clear of Ferrari. The battle for second will create an interesting narrative for the remainder of the season, with Ferrari sitting 24 points clear of Mercedes, and Red Bull sitting back in fourth after regularly only scoring points with one of their two cars on the grid.

Norris’ constant ability to make mistakes at crucial stages of races has been evident throughout the campaign, and that could ultimately be costly in his pursuit against a teammate who has already shown nerves of steel when pressure has been at its most intense.
