Viktoriya Dudakova vs. Melissa Gatto is one of the most interesting prelims of UFC on ESPN 54. This is a Women’s Flyweight, in which Dudakova is looking to stay undefeated, while Gatto is hoping to end her two-fight losing streak.

Before Betting on Dudakova vs. Gatto Fight

Viktoriya Dudakova is 8-0 overall with two wins in the UFC and one win in Dana White’s Contender Series. She’s a well-rounded fighter with amazing striking ability, who’s very dangerous in the clinch. The 25-year-old Russian has a great portfolio, but the fact is that she’s never fought such a good opponent as Melissa Gatto.

The 27-year-old Brazilian fighter is 8-2-2 overall with her two losses happening in her last two fights. It sounds bad, but there’s an explanation. She lost to two really good fighters, each time by decision.

First, Tracy Cortez beat her by a somewhat controversial unanimous decision. It’s controversial because Cortez had only six significant strikes more than her, while Gatto made one touchdown more.

Something similar happened in her previous fight, in which Ariane Lipski beat her by a split decision. Gatto landed 19 significant strikes more than her. Lipski made one TD without suffering any in that fight, which is what probably won the fight for her.
