The main event at UFC 325 this weekend will see Alexander Volkanovski defend his UFC Featherweight title against Diego Lopes.

It will be a second clash between two of the dominant fighters in the division, with Volkanovski winning the first bout back in April 2025 to win the gold. The Australian champion will have a passionate home support behind him, as he bids to improve on his 27-4 record.

Lopes boasts the tools in his arsenal to make this a stunning bout, and that was only evident last year when beating Jean Silva via TKO. However, we expect the Australian to showcase his top-quality ability in Sydney.

Dan Hooker vs. Benoit Saint Denis Odds & Pick

UFC 325’s co-main event will see the experienced Dan Hooker collide with Benoit Saint Denis in the lightweight division.

Hooker is ranked sixth in the lightweight rankings, and the New Zealand star is likely to get a warm reception in Sydney this weekend. The 35-year-old has won 24 of his 37 professional bouts, but he will need to bounce back following a submission loss against Arman Tsarukyan last November.

Denis is one of the fastest-growing stars in the UFC, and the 30-year-old is currently ranked eighth in the rankings. The former member of the French Army Special Forces has won 16 of his 20 bouts since turning professional, which includes dominant finishes in each of his last three. That trend of early finishes could continue on Saturday.

Rafael Fiziev vs. Mauricio Ruffy Odds & Pick

One of the closest matchups of the evening will come in the lightweight division, as Rafael Fiziev and Mauricio Ruffy clash in the octagon.

Fiziev is ranked ninth in the current rankings, and he has amassed a professional career reading 13-4. He showed excellent ability to bounce back to form in June, beating Ignacio Bahamondes following defeats in three straight bouts, which included two losses against Justin Gaethje.

Brazilian star Ruffy is ranked 14^th in the rankings, but he has shown dominance throughout his professional career, winning 12 of his 14 bouts, which includes victories via knockout on eleven occasions. His power could prove to be the difference maker once again on Saturday.
