Huge boxing action takes place in Saudi Arabia at the end of October, as WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury collides with former UFC megastar Francis Ngannou. Ten rounds of boxing action will be staged in this cross-sport contest, and it already looks set to be a money-spinning event for both fighters.

Before Betting On Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou

It’s fair to say that there was a lot of frustration when this Tyson Fury bout with Francis Ngannou was announced, as the boxing world has been pleading for a unification bout between the WBC champion and undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. Therefore, Fury’s decision to take a pay-day fight in the Middle East against an MMA opponent was widely questioned.

Fury will be the clear favorite in the betting to land victory in Saudi Arabia, as he comes into this event as one of the most dominant heavyweights that we have seen in the modern era. The Gypsy King has won 33 of his 34 professional bouts, with his only blip coming in the form of a draw against Deontay Wilder in December 2018.

However, since then, Fury has registered six straight wins, winning the WBC crown from Wilder in February 2020. Since then, he was defended the title with stoppage victories against the American as well as Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora.

Francis Ngannou will be the opponent for the Gypsy King in Riyadh, and this will be his first battle since making the decision not to re-sign with the UFC in early 2022. Ngannou left the MMA promotion as the defending UFC heavyweight champion, after winning the gold with a stunning second-round stoppage win against Stipe Miocic. He defended the title in early 2022 with a decision win over French star Ciryl Gane.
