The Minnesota Timberwolves will clash with the Portland Trail Blazers in the second of back-to-back meetings against this rival. It is also the last game before the NBA All-Star weekend, and as such, we had to cover it.

Before Betting on Timberwolves vs. Trail Blazers

Minnesota had four tough games on the road, losing just one and winning the following three. After an OT defeat against the Bulls in Chicago, 129-123, the T-Wolves beat the Bucks, the Clippers, and the Trail Blazers. They scored more than 120 points in all of these events, showing their incredible offensive potential.

Anthony Edwards scores 26.1 points per game, while Karl-Anthony Towns adds 22.5 with 8.4 boards, and the two are the leading duo of the unit from Minneapolis. However, we need to mention Mike Conley, who may not be as efficient as before, but he perfectly distributes the ball and orchestrates the offense.

Portland has experienced problems since the campaign began, but all that escalated in the past two weeks. The Trail Blazers lost the previous five meetings in a row, three of them at home. One of the defeats was against the Detroit Pistons, and that especially hurt the home fans.

The latter two took place against the New Orleans Pelicans and the Timberwolves, 121-109. Deandre Ayton had a strong double-double, scoring 22 points with 16 rebounds, while Anfernee Simons added 20 buckets. Portland was near all the time, but in the end, they lost the pace over the final 12 minutes, allowing the rivals to pull away.

It is very tough to beat one team two times in a row, but in this case, the Timberwolves are superior compared to the struggling Blazers, even though Portland plays at home. The spread on the guests is -8.5 points, and we do believe that the T-Wolves are going to cover it.
